Doug was born and raised in Eastern Colorado on a cattle ranch.
He went to Colorado State University for undergraduate and veterinary school. He graduated in 1986 and worked in a clinic in southeast Denver and then worked in Michigan.
Him and his wife Kathy have four children, 10 grandchildren, and 3 dogs. They both enjoy time with the kids both here and in Michigan. He has done companion animal medicine in the Denver area for the past 20 years. He spent 10 years in Michigan.
He enjoys the people and pets that he works with on a daily basis. He enjoys both surgery and medicine.
